A worker named Jim helped us out and while we weren’t able to get the part we needed he helped direct us to where we might be able to find one or one similar. Overall he was very helpful and there was an awesome amount of workers who also gave us tips without being asked.

As soon as I walked in there were greeting me and asking if I needed help with anything. I love the products they sell and good prices all around great place to shop.

Used the restroom here while shopping that needed a code, I went in and there was two drugged out, possibly homeless women smoking something disgusting & blabbering about. One was in the stall with her items strewn about everywhere and barefoot. I quickly let an associate know who immediately told a leader. If they require a code, they need to do regular checks!! That was appalling & exposed me to a possible drug! Probably won’t be back to this location anytime soon.. or at least won’t use the restroom.

Yet here we are another place that has some kind of adult men's time warp thing going on. How is I walk in the door thinking about the one item I need to get and what seems like minutes later I'm leaving with a cart fully loaded with everything to complete my current projects and start ten more? And how has it been five hours already? Cheat code wives. Want to keep your husband clueless about something for half a day? Give him $100 tell him you want him to pick out what he really wants for his birthday, drop him off, tell him call when he is done. BAM!! Anything I mean anything, family flying from Florida to surprise him, move in to a new house l, anything to him he was only there for 20 minutes so why would he even ask what happened? Bonus cheat...?? If you want to see the happiest he has been since your wedding, or since the babies were born then that's the time to surprise him with the real present, the surprise party with everyone there but how did you do all that in 20 minutes??!!? That's beag about your wife stuff for years level cheats. Good job Lowe's lol.

Had a great selection. And we were able to get the things we needed and check out pretty fast.

I work with a contracting company and our client order all new kitchen appliances. She thought we were able to pick up and deliver but we only do the install. I went into the store to try and get a delivery schedule in time for our client to move into her newly renovated home. I was not expecting to get the amazing customer service I received!

Melissa in Fulfillment went ABOVE AND BEYOND to help me and actually got me a next day delivery!

I had the most frustrating experience trying to make a large order to be shipped out. I called all of the locations and was on hold for a total of 45 min.

The ONLY saving Grace was Alex in Customer Service. She was the only person who heard me and didn’t pawn me off or put me on hold. She made things happen and I’m so grateful because I was going insane.

Point being is that if you’re making a bush order, it’s better to fly in to Anchorage and go to Lowe’s in person than to go through the excruciating process of trying to get a human on the phone to talk to.

Really bummed to leave this review for the flooring department.

We ordered flooring may 15.
Flooring is expected for mid June (even though it was expected earlier we know we live in Alaska so-)
No call no updates on the shipment - and various calls to lowes left me even more confused and bewildered lead to a few in person visits later to try and figure out why my order is not able to be found or my order doesn’t exist etc.
for the next two months I have to make in person visits to just try and keep a pulse on the progress and make sure nothing requires rescheduling.
It’s 8/11 and lowes says floor is ready for pickup - great news!
It’s 8/15 and my Significant other goes to lowes at 5:30 to load the floor into truck.
He’s waiting until 8 because no one can locate the flooring or the molding and no one can load it until a loading ticket could be printed. And the whole time he isn’t being helped or offered an alternative to him standing that whole time waiting. (Like come back tomorrow and we will be ready) -

Additionally lowes said we would be getting a call in a few days from the floor installers. It’s been a couple weeks and again no calls no follow up and no answers and apparently we can’t request the most professional installers it all has to be “behind the curtain”. Which I guess I can see for favoritism but anyways. This whole summer we’ve been extremely patient, kind and for what it’s worth the people are at least nice and helpful.

But the overall management and communication or reliability is why we give it two stars.

Editing to one star because my guy is still there waiting to load materials- while everyone who was getting materials to the loading dock decided it was a good time to Take a break

And then my guy ended up loaded all the materials by hand at the door because no one showed up with the forklift.

2.5 wk later -Just tried calling the lowes - same issues as usual- I get thrown into the automated voice system get routed to lowes and then the call drops. Will have to come in person again to find out where the floor transitions are (floor installers won’t call us until these parts are located). Lowes said all our flooring parts were in and turns out they weren’t. Transitions are the last to go In and we can’t come to a compromise on it. We offered to put those in ourselves when they finally come in.

Love Lowe's more than Home Depot. And in the Valley the location seals the deal.
