Atlanta, 2540 Cumberland Blvd SE, Smyrna, GA 30080

If you’re navigating the bustling energy of the Cumberland area, you’ll find a massive retail landmark at the T.J. Maxx & HomeGoods combo store in Smyrna. Located at 2540 Cumberland Blvd, this dual-concept "superstore" is a cornerstone of the Heritage Pavilion shopping center, perfectly positioned near the intersection of I-285 and I-75. In 2026, it remains a favorite "insider" secret for residents of Smyrna, Vinings, and the nearby Battery Atlanta who want to capture that polished, high-end Georgia aesthetic without the boutique price tags found in Buckhead.

The experience of this specific location is defined by its seamless, open-concept layout, allowing you to move freely from designer handbags and runway fashion into a world of global home decor without ever leaving the building. In 2026, the T.J. Maxx side continues to draw in the fashion-conscious with its "The Runway" department—a high-end enclave where you can find genuine luxury labels and designer beauty products at a fraction of their original cost. Meanwhile, the HomeGoods side offers a light-filled gallery of artisan rugs, sculptural lighting, and hand-carved furniture. It is a tactile, high-energy environment where the "thrill of the find" is a daily occurrence; with new shipments arriving constantly, the statement piece you see on a Tuesday morning is often long gone by the time the weekend rush hits.

What truly makes the Cumberland Boulevard location a community staple is its role as a creative hub for the area’s diverse population. On any given afternoon, you might see a professional from a nearby corporate tower picking out sleek, modern storage solutions for their apartment, or a local family from the surrounding suburbs hunting for the perfect decorative accents to finish a home renovation. In 2026, the store has expanded its "Gourmet Marketplace" section, featuring imported specialty foods and high-end linens that add a touch of world-traveler charm to every kitchen. It serves as a creative engine for the city, proving that a home or a wardrobe can look sophisticated and expensive on a smart, savvy budget.

Visiting this location is a seamless part of a productive day in Smyrna. Whether you’re popping in after a grocery run at the neighboring markets or grabbing a few seasonal decor items before heading to a Braves game at Truist Park, the service is characterized by a blend of big-city efficiency and warm, Southern hospitality. With professional delivery services standing by to help you get those oversized furniture finds home and plenty of convenient parking in the heart of the Pavilion, it’s never been easier to elevate your lifestyle. It is a world-class retail space that reminds you why the best shopping trips are the ones that turn an ordinary errand into an unexpected discovery.

Some interesting reviews about this place

Best T.J Maxx I've ever been to. Everything is kept clean and well stocked. I could come here every day! Service is great. Of course there's always the long that comes with shopping in any T.J Maxx but they have lots of employees who are very kind.

Great place to find dog toys and brand-name treats at a fraction of their original price.

Always interested to see what’s new at TJ Max.

It’s sad they don’t have delivery system in-house for large items like outdoor set, big rugs, etc. such a lost sale!!! shame.

Hello,

I would like to take a moment to thank Calliah for providing such outstanding customer service both today and on Saturday. She was incredibly kind, polite, professional, helpful, and welcoming. Her demeanor and body language were genuinely inviting, which made my experience very pleasant.

In fact, my interaction with her on Saturday was so positive that it made me want to return today. For me, shopping isn’t just about the items in the store—it’s about how I’m treated while I’m there, and that experience determines whether I’ll come back.

I also shared my feedback with Jamilah, the manager, so that Calliah can be recognized for her great service. When I was younger, I always appreciated being recognized for my efforts, and I know many people face personal challenges daily—sometimes just getting to work can be difficult. That’s why I wanted to take the time to express my gratitude for the way she treated me.

Additionally, I’d like to commend Jamilah as well. She was very pleasant, polite, and attentive. She genuinely listened to my feedback, thanked me for sharing, and seemed sincerely interested. Often, when people ask for a manager, it’s to voice a complaint—but in this case, I wanted to highlight something positive. Both Calliah and Jamilah were wonderful examples of great customer service.

Thank you for taking the time to read my note, and please extend my appreciation to both of them.

Have a great day!

I love my peach and brown sisters but I do believe I was racially profiled by a cashier. I decided to visit the store in search for an area rug for my Airbnb. The guy in the carpet section, awesome...he went over and beyond to be helpful. I finally decided on a rug and then picked up two pieces from activewear and pilates equipment. Time to check out! Original cashier was super friendly, we even shared a few laughs in the brief transaction. Boom, I'm done and walk out store, I double check my receipt as I couldn't believe my total was as much. Before I could even make it to my car I noticed a double charge based on the item tag number repeated on my receipt. I made a u-turn in the parking lot and went back in to address the error. Well the original cashier was busy with another customer so I approached a cashier who wasn't with a customer. I felt like the error was clear enough and the receipt was time stamped so it was a matter of seconds. She took a look at the receipt and seemed reluctant about what I was pointing out to her. I explained that no two items should have the exact same number plus I showed her my two activewear pieces when I was charged for 3 pieces. Would you believe she asked to see the inside of my bag and check my whole buggy??!! I felt so offended, here I was, had paid $250 for my total and overcharged and I was made to feel like I had done something wrong. She said, "Let me check, just in case." In case of what, is the question She completed the refund after she was satisfied that there was no other logical thing to do. I spoke to a manager immediately after. It wasn't about being overcharged, because accidents happen. It was how I was made to feel after the error occurred on the store's behalf. Two stars given for the guy in the rug department and the initial cashier.

Rude staff. Lady was talking about my baby and I saying we were making a mess in Spanish as I was leaving and of course I said something. She thought I wasn’t. My daughter had grabbed something and I put it back where it was so of course I was annoyed because I was also getting dirty looks. Also the ladies that work in the dressing rooms are also very rude. They also seem to treat people of a different race differently. DO BETTER!
