Hi, I appreciated the service that they gave the guy named Mike is the one that serviced me concerning my tire it was late at night and they would only tire place open so I greatly appreciate it cause when you need help in the middle of the night you gotta rely and hope that people will treat you fairly and what your needs are and not a price you and they didn’t and they were very quick about their service. I would recommend them to anyone that may need help specially late at night and they’re open seven days a week.

The tires are all way too expensive—and this is supposed to be a small business.
I wouldn't recommend it. Plus, the staff look at you and treat you as if you reek; they have a terrible attitude.

I normally don’t leave negative reviews, but I want to share my experience.

After hitting a large pothole in Chicago, my wife’s MINI had a flat tire at night. I called Angel’s Tire Shop and was initially told they had a Continental tire in my size. When I arrived about 15 minutes later, I was told that tire was no longer available and the only option was a used Nexen tire. Since it was late and I had no other practical option, I agreed to the installation.

The tire had a visible repair patch, and I was told it was a good-quality tire and that it came with a warranty.

After the repair, the vehicle remained parked in our garage for nearly a month because we were waiting for a replacement battery. Once the new battery was installed and registered, we discovered the replacement tire was completely flat.

I took the vehicle to Discount Tire for inspection. Their technician found that the replacement tire had a bulge on the inner sidewall and recommended replacing it. They also informed me that the directional tire had been mounted backwards. In addition, they noted slight wheel bending consistent with pothole impact, although they did not believe the wheel was the cause of the air loss.

Because the bulge was on the inner side of the tire and the tire was mounted backwards, the issue was not visible during normal visual inspection while the car was parked.

I contacted Angel’s Tire Shop and explained the situation. I was told their warranty is only two weeks, and since nearly a month had passed, they would not assist further.

I understand used tires carry risks, but I was disappointed that the replacement tire developed issues despite the vehicle being parked most of the time after installation. I am sharing my experience so others can make an informed decision.

LADIES CAUTION!!
I had a nail in my tire and took it to angel’s as it was one of the only spots open on a Sunday afternoon. They told me it would $40 definitely on the pricey side but I figured it’s Sunday, it’s ok. But then after coming back without my tire they tell me that the tire valve stem also needs to be replaced that it normally cost $4 but would add it on for only $20! I ask to see the issue he’s talking about and we go over to my tire that’s in the water basin and he’s unable to show me the “broken valve” he tried to “show me” at least twice and neither time was THERE ANYTHING wrong with my tire except for the nail in it. I refused the additional service and the whole vibe changed. I paid and left, the NEXT DAY I drove to MI with absolutely 0 issues or drop in air pressure in my tire! To this day, about 2 month later, still 0 issues with my tire valve stem.

I was driving in the area when all of a sudden I heard a noise coming from my tire. It was just past 6pm and luckily, I noticed that Angel’s tire shop was open. I swung by and had them take a look. They pulled a screw out of my tire and had me back in the road in no time. They were super helpful and friendly. I highly recommend.
