ABOUT

Who are we? Well, we seek out the finest natural and organic foods available, maintain the strictest quality standards in the industry, and have an unshakeable commitment to sustainable agriculture. Add to that the excitement and fun we bring to shopping for groceries, and you start to get a sense of what we’re all about. Oh yeah, we’re a mission-driven company too.

The original Whole Foods Market opened in 1980 with a staff of only 19 people. It was an immediate success. At the time, there were less than half a dozen natural food supermarkets in the United States. We have grown by leaps and bounds since our first store opened.

This store is great and they have almost every product I love using/eating, but the WF/Amazon online ordering process has way too many unnecessary steps compared to other grocery stores. - 5 stars
Updated review: This location needs to do better with their drive-up process. On one order, we got a whole extra order that was not ours, im talking $100 worth placed in our trunk. It tells me they don’t check bags when loading it onto the cart or putting it in our cars. During another order, they forgot half of our items and the worker just said “ oh it might be at the bottom of the bag” It tells me they are definitely not checking the bags. My partner had to go inside the store and get questioned 4 times about him not receiving our stuff like it’s his fault. Then the worker insisted to back to our car so they can check for themselves. Then they couldn’t figure out what to do and decided to just go get the stuff and make us wait longer. They finally found the missing bag laying around somewhere with all our stuff. Bad experience+process. Moral of the story, you can’t rely on WF staff to have your orders right and MUST check the bags yourself. I have NEVER had this problem at any Safeway Drive-Up

Great hot food station and delicious pizza. The whole pizza is twice the price of Costco, but it's also twice the quality. The employees don't seem so happy to be there though.

4/12/24 It's still a good option on the island. They have the best produce available compared to places like Safeway, or Times. Good options for specialty cheeses and vitaminor supplements. Expect to spend some money though. Whole Foods isn't cheap. But paying a little more for the quality of fresh meats, produce, and cheeses.

A regular Whole Foods with too many choices. I wish for my Trader Joe’s at times like this. But the handiest part of this WF is the Amazon hub locker inside. Pick up and drop off your Prime Amz orders quickly and efficiently. Worth the stop over

It’s ok. Feels a little smaller than the Whole Foods in Kakaako but this one tends to be a bit less crowded. Still on the more expensive side.
