Getting rid of self checkout was the dumbest thing on earth!!! We dont all have time to wait on line!!! Prime example: my infant is having a crying fit and im in a rush to get out and she really needs wipes but I couldn't get it because the line was taking to long and she wouldn't stop crying. In fact the crying just got worse!!!! Thanks for not thinking about us

I brought a $500 ps5 as a gift however straight out of the box it did not work. In addition due to this the person I gave the gift to discarded its original packaging. After calling Target’s Corporate office I was told I could still return it. So off to Target I go however they would not take it back. I’m at the customer service area getting ready to get an exchange for the item when the loud unprofessional typical manager comes yelling from the pits of Hell “ She can’t bring that back without a box” she’s also over talking me and when I asked her to stop she abruptly stopped the conversation and took the next person in line without completely servicing me. It was clear she was baiting me for a confrontation. I had to literally cope by crying to myself and going back to counter and this manager continued to go back to the counter and antagonize me. After my ability to over look the rude manager and dumb down to her level; I accepted my fate. My suggestion is that if you want quality service do not go to this Target and under no circumstances should you purchase anything of high value from there; you will be buying it at your own risk; Packaging or Not! Again I understood the message I was being given but the initial rude tone from used by the manager on 12/13/25 at 11am put me in a fight or flight response.

Their prices in the shelf and at the cashier always mismatch but it is never to the customers’ benefit. The store is great and the location is great but their prices are often wrong

Easily one of the better Targets in the city. This location is much larger than others in Brooklyn, very clean, employees are helpful, and checkout was very quick despite it being somewhat busy.

This Target went way downhill. Many grocery items haven’t been restocked in months. Shelves are a mess. Self checkout is gone and lines move slow (seems like a poor training issue).

Kenrick is awesome with customer service!
I awakened early morning to my space heater not working and I was highly anxious experiencing this due to the frigid cold outside leaving a draft through my window.

Therefore I immediately searched for in store pick up options today. Not surprisingly not many places were available to pick up due to inventory and winter season changing shortly in spring.

Target downtown Brooklyn advertised six in store for pick up today. I was excited! I took the train to the Target around 5:15pm and walked 3 blocks and entered aisle E20 for heaters I saw two associates a male and a female and I asked them were these the only heaters?

The space heater advertised was not there. Female said what I saw was what they had.
Male whose names would be Kenrick stepped in and saved the day!
He asked may I take a look at what you saw? I said yes he could. He copied the numbers into his device and asked how many did I need ? I said one. He said that he will return. In less than 10 minutes Kenrick brought me the space heater! I was overjoyed!

The fact that Kenrick took the initiative to proactively ask search and execute I am impressed! It meant a lot to me that I may sleep in a warm environment because Kenrick cares! Sending all the light to Kenrick he is a superstar associate!

Store is fine, but the checkout queue is the the most inefficient possible system: a lot of cashiers, each with its own line. For the love of queuing theory!! Take a page from Trader Joe's please, or Primark, or other Target locations, and make a single queue for many registers. Aside from that, basic clothing selection for teens is very poor.
