I live in a highly desirable suburb and I have never experienced such discrimination and prejudice behavior in a Target before! Especially in the self checkout line. We have shopped here on the way from running errands and this is the first time we’ve been treated like criminals; followed around and stalked. How about adding more cashiers, learning professionalism, and cleaning your store?; instead of stalking innocent families!

Every time I have been to this target, which has been a lot because the closest target to my home and I go to target for a lot of my clothes because it’s easier and cheaper and more of a variety, the staff and the checkout staff and the customers and the security, they all just suck for the majority of the customers can just cut you in line and be extremely rude to you and then the checkout staff will do the exact same to you and not do anything in the security. They’ll follow you around for no reason and then when you come to them with like a legitimate problem like this lady is getting physical or something. They’re like dismissive about it. I don’t care. This has been a repeat thing at this target and honestly corporate should be informed if corporate already has it but in general, the staff are just extremely rude and dismissive. One of the staff members has also opened a bottle of soap I bought before I even left the store and paid.

I cannot stand this Target. Every time I try to buy formula the employees take forever to show up (the formula is locked up). I’ve had to call the store before and I’ve also had to find someone at the front of the store to call someone multiple times. They have everything locked up to prevent stealing but honestly they’re not getting stolen from enough. I think everyone should start stealing from this Target more.

On March 2nd 2026, I attempted to purchase a Hot Wheels car that was clearly shelved and labeled at $3.89. At checkout, the item scanned at $5.99.

While waiting for assistance at the register, the cashier identified as Rose delayed responding. When she finally approached, she ignored me and assisted a customer who arrived after me. Another guest had to intervene and inform her that I had been waiting first.

Instead of resolving the pricing discrepancy at the register, Rose responded rudely and sent me to Guest Services.

At Guest Services, I was assisted by Riley, whose handling of the situation was unacceptable. I was instructed to walk to the back of the store to photograph the shelf label myself. After returning, Riley scanned the barcode, acknowledged the shelf price of $3.89, and then stated that the item had been “misplaced by employees” and that I would still be required to pay $5.99.

I was effectively penalized for a store stocking error, despite clear shelf labeling, and subjected to unnecessary inconvenience and dismissive treatment throughout the process.

This interaction reflects multiple failures:
• Disregard for basic customer order and courtesy
• Refusal to resolve a straightforward pricing discrepancy
• Poor understanding or application of pricing and guest-first policies
• Inappropriate delegation of employee responsibility to the customer

This experience wasted my time, caused unnecessary frustration, and fell far below the standards I expect from Target.

Can't get help in the items that are locked up and the carts are terrible, squeek. Will spend $500 on items elsewhere.
