Best in the West Shopping Center

Las Vegas, 2192 N Rainbow Blvd, Las Vegas, NV 89108

If you’re over in the Northwest part of the valley or cruising along the I-95, Best in the West Shopping Center at 2192 N Rainbow Blvd is a spot you’ve likely visited a hundred times. It’s one of those massive "power centers" that actually lives up to its name, sitting right at the intersection of Rainbow and Lake Mead Boulevard. For those of us in the 89108 area, it’s the ultimate convenience hub—you can get your fashion fix, tech upgrades, and grocery shopping done all in one giant loop without ever leaving the parking lot.

The lineup of stores here is honestly one of the best for local bargain hunters. It’s anchored by a "heavy hitter" list of discount and designer finds, including Nordstrom Rack, TJ Maxx, Marshalls, and Burlington. If you’re looking to refresh your wardrobe without the Strip price tags, you can easily spend a whole morning hopping between these spots. Plus, having a Best Buy and an Ulta Beauty in the same complex means you can pick up a new laptop and restock your skincare in a single trip. It’s a "boots on the ground" kind of place where you see everyone from Summerlin families to local contractors getting things done.

What really makes Best in the West a neighborhood favorite is the variety of specialty shops that make life easier. The PetSmart here is a staple for pet parents, and there’s a DSW if you’re a shoe fanatic. For the kids (or just the budget-conscious), the Five Below is great for quick snacks or fun gifts. The center feels more organized than some of the older plazas in the area; the parking lot is expansive, and its location right off the freeway makes it a stress-free alternative to the more crowded indoor malls.

When you’ve walked off all your energy, the food options are actually solid. You can sit down for a real meal at Applebee’s or Chili’s, or try something more specialized like Pin Kaow Thai or Ohjah Japanese Steakhouse. It’s a clean, well-maintained environment that draws a good crowd without feeling quite as hectic as the tourist traps. It’s just a reliable, one-stop destination that has pretty much everything a local household needs.

The Best in the West Shopping Center is open daily to fit just about any schedule. While individual store hours can vary, the center’s general hours are Monday through Sunday from 10:00 AM to 10:00 PM. Most of the major anchors like Best Buy and Nordstrom Rack usually open at 10:00 AM and close around 8:00 PM or 9:00 PM, while the restaurants often stay open later for the dinner rush. It’s a solid, dependable piece of the North Rainbow corridor that makes weekend errands feel a lot less like work.

Went to the Best in the West Shops and looked around then stopped to eat at Applebee's for dinner. Usually go there for the specials they have and just enjoy the evening. Nice place to eat at food is good also.

Several popular stores here. Parking could be better, but it could be a lot worse too. I don't understand why the little islands or maze like design exist in some areas, but its Vegas. The city was started by the mob not MENSA.

It's been a good shopping center for years. Some of the stores have changed over the years but I still go often. Right now they have a big Ross/ Burlington's/ TJ Maxx / Marshall's/ PetSmart/ Best Buy , etc

It was a ok place, just didn't like it when sick dude came to help me, while wiping his nose.
The items seem too expensive and just decided to get items from Amazon as it was cheaper and didn't need dual feature ergo trackball mouse for $100 when Amazon had single feature for $40. So I opted to wait for free shipping.
