Nu Stadium at Miami Freedom Park

If you’re looking for the heart of the 305 right now, it’s definitely Nu Stadium at Miami Freedom Park. Located at 1900 NW 37th Ave, it’s a total game-changer for those of us who’ve been driving up to Fort Lauderdale for years to see Inter Miami play. Finally, the team is home, and the energy in the neighborhood is something else. It’s right next to the airport, so you get those iconic views of planes descending over the stadium, which just feels like the most "Miami" thing ever.

The stadium itself is a beauty, but it doesn't feel like a cold, corporate arena. They’ve really leaned into the local culture. The standout feature has to be the Leo Messi Stand, which is pretty wild to see in person—a living legend playing in a stand named after him! If you’re lucky enough to grab a seat in the North Stand with La Familia, be ready for 90 minutes of drumming, singing, and enough pink smoke to satisfy any Inter Miami fan. Plus, the 360-degree concourse means you can grab a bite and still catch a glimpse of the downtown skyline while you wait for your croquetas.

One of the biggest perks is that the stadium is actually the center of a massive 131-acre project called Miami Freedom Park. Even if there isn't a game on, the vibes are great. There’s a huge Inter Miami Team Store—apparently the largest in the MLS—and it’s over 11,000 square feet. It’s a great spot to grab a jersey or a scarf without the matchday crowds. They’ve also opened up parts of the 58-acre public park nearby, so it’s becoming a real community hub where you can actually hang out, rather than just a place that sits empty during the week.

Getting there is surprisingly easy compared to other Miami venues. You can hop on the Metrorail or Tri-Rail to the Miami Intermodal Center and take the MIA Mover or a quick shuttle right to the gates. If you’re driving, there’s plenty of parking, but honestly, with the airport right there, ridesharing is usually the way to go. It’s just nice to have world-class soccer and concerts (shoutout to the Carín León show coming up!) right in our backyard instead of stuck in traffic on I-95.

Wonderful experience ! The Leo Messi Stand is awesome, really worth the price because of how private and spacious it was. Also the area has a/c which is a nice feature !

Super clean, very organized, and the service is impressive across the board. Getting in and out was smooth and efficient, which makes a big difference on game days.

They offer great lounge options — the NU Lounge includes alcohol, and the West Club includes food and regular beverages, both well worth it depending on your preference.

Overall, a really well-run stadium with a premium feel.

It’s not 100% completed and construction is still going on all around the stadium, we can’t wait until it’s completed as this is such an amazing project!

The train station is walking distance and I highly recommend or ride sharing.

Excellent stadium with lots of potential, but they need to keep investing in public transportation, because the trains are scarce and traffic in and out is a nightmare. Also, when you do get down at the station, the walk is extremely long, through the surroundings of a Sheraton hotel without sidewalks and by a construction job site. They need to figure out a way of making this better for this stadium and the overall experience to truly be 5/5 stars.

Absolute shit show. Most of the property is still under construction with dust everywhere. There is ZERO coordination with the MIA mass transit system…. just massive crowds waiting on a single train. Expect crazy long lines for overpriced beer and food stands that are either not operational or completely ill-equipped. I like Inter Miami and wish them the best, but I’m not doing this again.

I had an amazing experience at the new stadium in Miami. From the moment we arrived, everything felt well-organized and thoughtfully designed. The layout makes it easy to get around, the seating offers great views, and the overall atmosphere is electric.

What really stood out was the security top notch across the board. The staff was professional, efficient, and visible without being overwhelming. Entry was smooth, lines moved quickly, and you could tell they had everything under control, which made the whole experience feel safe and enjoyable.

Overall, the stadium exceeded expectations. It’s a fantastic addition to the city and definitely one of the best venues I’ve been to. I’ll absolutely be coming back.

The Nu Stadium is beautiful inside, great screen where you can watch the game. A lot of concessions, but few of them closed, prices are super high.

The outside of the stadium is 20 percent finish, a lot of dust and uneven pavement. At the end of the inaugural game started raining and it was hard to walk due to the water in the parking.

We attended the grand opening of Nu Stadium and the venue itself is beautiful. Everything looks modern and well designed.

However, the lines inside the stadium were extremely long, for bathrooms, food, and drinks..which makes me feel like the venue may not be properly prepared for that volume of people.

On top of that, leaving was a nightmare. It took us 2.5 hours just to get out of the parking lot!!cars weren’t moving at all, constant honking, total chaos. Even after exiting, traffic continued for blocks.

I really hope they improve both the internal organization and the parking/traffic situation, because it’s a shame for such a nice place.

My dream is to watch Messi play football. I didn't have the chance when he played in Europe. Miami is impossible. Love from Greece
