I’m a big fan of Georgian cuisine!
Aragvi is a lovely restaurant with a wide menu and delicious dishes.
The eggplant rolls are always a hit for me, either as an appetizer or a main course.
The adjaruli was good, though I wouldn’t say it’s the best I’ve ever had.
The lamb chops were cooked perfectly and came with a generous portion.
The pork ribs were crispy and tasty. The borscht was flavorful.
The only thing that didn’t quite hit the mark for me was the salmon; I’m not a huge fan of it.
I definitely recommend trying Georgian wine,
it’s undeniably delicious, and you’ll find yourself wanting more!

Located near the United Nations Headquarters, this restaurant specializes in Georgian cuisine. The entrance is discreet, and the interior feels almost like a cave—charming in its own way, though mobile reception is practically nonexistent.

Service, however, leaves much to be desired. Plates were cleared without even asking, more reminiscent of a casual street stall than a sit-down restaurant. The food itself was quite good, but the overall experience would benefit greatly from more attentive service.

Made a dinner reservation for 2 on a Sunday evening. Was sat right away by the big LED screen. Kaha and the rest of the team were extremely attentive. We ordered a variety of dishes and everything came out extremely quickly. Would definitely be back (:

Georgian Fusion restaurant with a mix of russian and chef inspired dishes. Overall a very pleasant experience, however, my preference is always for traditional cuisine celebrating Georgia's 3,000 year old culinary culture. Oh, amd they dont make or have Shoti (traditional georgian bread), which was a big bummer for us.

Delicious food- lobio, pkhali, meat dishes- beautiful presentation, adequate portions and great tasting!
Surprised by seeing Borscht on the soup menu - not entirely Georgian cuisine, however, there many Russian- speaking guests from various countries who ordered it and were happy with their choice.
Service is fast and attentive- Manhattan style, on a business side. I would recommend to add a pinch of small talk to connect with guests and to make their experience more personable (hint: bigger tip).
Music was American not Georgian- would be a good touch to mix in some Georgian music for a more authentic experience.
Upsettingly so, there was no Georgian bread “shotis puri”, which is an absolute must have when dining at a Georgian restaurant.
All in all- great experience and would definitely recommend to everyone!
Didi Madloba “thank you”

Introduced my family to this cuisine for the first time this evening, and it was outstanding. They took really good care of us. And super convenient to Grand Central, so they could eat a nice meal, have a lovely drink, and then get back on the train home.

Excellent Georgian restaurant! The khachapuri was outstanding, and the pkhali was absolutely delicious. We also really enjoyed the Kindzmarauli wine, which paired perfectly with the meal.

We visited with our family, and every single one of us left happy and satisfied. The food was authentic, flavorful, and clearly prepared with care. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, making the whole experience even more enjoyable.

Highly recommended for anyone looking for great Georgian cuisine. We will definitely be back!

Hello,
I wanted to share my experience from a visit about a week ago.
First, let me say that we had a wonderful day visiting the Statue of Liberty and chose your restaurant to finish the day with family.
The day before, I had celebrated my 60th birthday, which made this family outing even more special to me.
I was accompanied by my American godson and the American-born son of a close friend. I was looking forward to introducing them to Georgian hospitality, cuisine, and culture.
As a Georgian, one small detail caught my attention immediately. A large screen in the restaurant was showing beautiful scenes from a European seaside town. It looked nice, but I found myself wondering why a Georgian restaurant was not showcasing Georgia instead. Our country has breathtaking mountains, beautiful seaside regions, historic cities, ancient churches, and a unique culture that many visitors would enjoy discovering.
Unfortunately, the service also left us disappointed. The restaurant was almost empty, with only a three tables occupied, including us. We noticed that other guests were receiving much more attention, while our table was often overlooked. Maybe this was not intentional, but that was how it felt to us.
The food was acceptable, although I was surprised that the kupati sausage, priced at $35, was not what I expected.
I am not writing this to complain or to ask for anything. I am writing because I believe every guest should receive the same attention and respect, regardless of who they are or where they come from. I also believe that a Georgian restaurant should proudly present the beauty of Georgia itself.
I hope this feedback is helpful.
Thank you, veteran, Besik M.

Was celebrating a friend's birthday here and had a selection of different dishes. All of them were incredibly delicious and full of flavor. The staff was super friendly and the atmosphere was fun with music being a mix of jazz and traditional Georgian music. Highly recommend for anyone who wants to try Georgian cuisine.

Grilled meat, bread, and cheese. What more can you ask for. Meal here was great! Got the Chicken Mtsvadi which was super tender and had a nice sauce on the side. Got the Chvishtari on the side as well which was like a cheese stuffed cornbread. Had a stellar crisp on the outside and so much cheese inside it was awesome. Finally a nice Georgian beer called Kazbegi which was delightful.

Very disappointing level of service (ordering, checks etc everything is total chaos) and average taste of food compared to any Georgian restaurants I ve been all around the world. Even they served a glass of Kvanchkara was not good. The people who have never been a Georgian resto might rate here high…
