The Askili Orchard Experience
Our Culinary Philosophy

Our philosophy is simple: we believe that tradition should be a springboard, not a ceiling. At Askili Orchard, we reimagine the hearty, spice-laden heritage of Georgia for the modern palate. We focus on balancing the bold, earthy flavors of our homeland with a lighter touch, utilizing fresh, high-quality produce and creative plating that elevates every dish into a contemporary art form.

Culinary Craftsmanship

Our kitchen is a laboratory of flavor where heritage meets the modern table:

Reimagined Classics: We take the iconic elements of Georgian cuisine—walnuts, pomegranates, and traditional cheeses—and integrate them into inventive dishes that are as visually stunning as they are delicious.

The Silk Road Influence: Our menu explores the intersection of history and innovation, featuring vibrant flavor profiles that have traveled across the Silk Road for centuries, now revitalized for the NYC food enthusiast.

Freshness First: We prioritize a "light and fresh" approach, ensuring that our ingredients are vibrant, seasonal, and prepared with techniques that respect the integrity of the produce.

Artful Presentation: We believe you eat with your eyes first. Every plate is meticulously crafted to be a vibrant, modern reflection of Georgia's diverse culinary landscape.

This is the best Georgian restaurant in NYC. They take a genius contemporary twist on traditional Georgian cuisine. All dishes were exquisite.

My 1st experience with Georgian cuisine. New and different flavors exquisitely combined - from nettle leaf “pizza” to the subtly spicy blackberry sauce under beautifully tender Cornish hen, the herbal flavors were very thoughtfully balanced in all six dishes we shared. Kudos to the chef for executing his vision to share the flavors of his homeland!

From the ambiance to the food, top choice for a girls night out, a sophisticated date night, or a place to impress.

The food is full of flavor, spicy without being overpowering and varied with a clear direction. I loved the dumplings the first time I visited, and would come again just for that.

Ambiance is nothing short of perfection, with acid and nu wave jazz adding a touch of elegance to experiencing Georgian cuisine.

Staff is attentive, willing to answer questions from wine pairing to cocktails of the evening. Highly recommended as a new spot.

Truly exceptional meal! We stopped in for cocktails to get cover from the rain, and stayed for a wonderful meal of soups (one cold tomato, and one warm chicken/mushroom) and potatoes with plum sauce. Service was great, cocktails were tasty, and food was delicious. Excited to return!

This was more than a meal… it was an experience. Our server was so helpful, because he took time to give excellent recommendations and explanations about Georgian dishes and wines. Then, the chef himself brought out a couple of our dishes and told us about them. We really enjoyed the food, and every bite was amazingly layered; we could really taste each one of them. If you do nothing else, ask to try the three different spreads with some Georgian bread. Then, too, the puff pastry filled with cheese is incredible, but be sure to try it with a bit of the spinach/walnut paste spread. We each tried a different Georgian wine with our food, and it was like taking a trip to a different country.
The service was excellent, and we really appreciated our guides who introduced us to a new cuisine. They were helpful and friendly, and took great pride in what they do. We will be back!
