Really glad I found this place. The doctor is thorough and straightforward ,explains everything clearly and doesn’t make you feel rushed. The office is well-organized, staff is friendly, and I’ve never had to wait long. It’s hard to find a specialist you actually trust, but I feel like I’m in good hands here. Would definitely recommend.

I made an appointment a few weeks ago and it was a very surreal experience. Primarily the purpose of my visit was to renew my glasses/contacts prescriptions, and also do a thorough check of the health of my eyes. And I wanted to ask if I was an eligible candidate for Lasik, just as a general inquiry. So in short, it should have been a pretty routine visit. I have been visiting optometrists and ophthalmologists since I was 9 years old, I am not new to this. But never in my life have I seen an office so disorganized and a staff so inept. I was taken from the waiting room and returned to it at least 5 times for various eye exams. During one exam they were surprised to learn I was wearing contacts, despite having already conducted a couple of exams on my eyes. I don't even know that I trust the eye exams they did to be accurate - a few of them had to be done multiple times, I was switched to different machines in between, at one point a technician called someone else in because he seemingly couldn't operate the machine, etc. Two staff members started arguing right in front of me about my chart when they could have just asked me to clarify anything that was unclear. I never had my eyes dilated, which should have been part of the comprehensive eye exam, and I was later told by a staff member that I had had my eyes dilated. Pretty sure I would know if my eyes had been dilated, kind of hard to miss that. When I finally saw Dr. Rapport, she was admittedly very nice if a little hurried. She referred me to a coordinator to speak about next steps for Lasik/Smile. The coordinator basically told me the price, that they could schedule it quickly, and that I would receive an information packet. Mind you, I had only just started to consider Lasik, so it felt a bit pushy and not very informative for someone trying to decide about a procedure. I am still uncertain if I received collagen plugs for my dry eye or not - the receptionist told me at the end of my visit that I had, but I never agreed to having them inserted. I was also told to come back in 2 months, as was every other patient from what I heard, which seems unusually frequent. The entire visit spanned a whopping 2.5 hours and ultimately I left without being given any updated prescriptions. It was almost entirely a complete waste of my evening.
