Annapolis, 1735 Annapolis Mall Rd, Annapolis, MD 21401

If you’re wandering through the coastal charm of Maryland’s capital, you’ll find a high-tech anchor for the community at Apple Annapolis. Located at 1735 Annapolis Mall Rd, this store is a long-standing favorite that serves as the primary tech hub for the Chesapeake Bay region. While many people think of Annapolis for its historic brick streets and sailing culture, this location offers a sleek, modern contrast, providing a bright and welcoming space where the pace of innovation matches the energy of the city.

The store design is a masterclass in open, intuitive layout. Since its major relocation within the mall to a much larger footprint, the space has become a true "pavilion" for the community. With soaring glass walls and the signature long maple-wood tables, the environment is designed for exploration. In 2026, it is the go-to destination in Maryland to get hands-on with the latest iPhone 17 lineup or to try out the strikingly portable MacBook Neo. It’s a tactile experience where you’re encouraged to stay a while, test the latest gear, and see how the new Apple Intelligence features can actually make your daily life a bit easier.

What truly makes Apple Annapolis a neighborhood staple is its role as a creative engine. Through the Today at Apple program, the store’s "Forum" area—centered around a massive video wall—becomes a daily classroom for all ages. On any given afternoon, you might see local students from the Naval Academy or St. John’s College mastering professional editing on a Mac, or kids gathered for a "Kids Hour" to learn coding through fun, interactive games. In 2026, it has also become the premier spot for immersive Apple Vision Pro demos, where you can book a personal session to step into the future of spatial computing with the help of a friendly local specialist.

Visiting this location is a seamless part of a productive day. Whether you’ve scheduled a Genius Bar appointment to troubleshoot a device or you’re just popping in to browse while waiting for a movie at the nearby AMC Theatres, the vibe is professional yet relaxed. It’s a space that understands the unique blend of Annapolis life—sophisticated and connected, yet deeply rooted in a friendly, "small-town" feel. After you’ve explored the latest tech, you’re just a short drive from the historic waterfront, making it a perfect starting point for a day of exploring everything the region has to offer.

Sad to realize that Apple dropped the ball with a mainboard replacement. There was a customized Waze voice recording that didn't transfer over because they didn't attempt to install the eSIM and relied on me to do it and restore from iCloud backup which lacked that specific piece of data. Not just frustrating, but heartbreaking that we were forgotten in the store for hours by Ron. He actually left because his shift ended without handing ya off to another team member. Lazy and unacceptable.

Staff is friendly and courteous, but was profoundly unhelpful. Was trying to get help resetting an iPad revieved from a work event, was told to come back with the business receipt and the device and they would help. Had my CFO pull The receipt and all of the list of serial numbers on it for all of the iPads purchased for that event, brought it to the store, waited again for service, only to be told that even though this scenario and circumstances I very clearly explained only 2 days prior and was told this was the solution, I was now told by the manager Anne that my CFO would also have to come to the store with me because their name is on the receipt. A rather absurd thing to expect from a business, and would have been helpful to know before the promise of help if I made a second trip. Would have loved some help towards a solution rather than just being lured back to the store over and over again with empty promises wasting my time.

Had an appointment for 1:15pm to be fair I was 10 minutes late but now I’ve been sitting here for my Genius Bar appointment for over 30 minutes with a non verbal autistic child. It’s 2:05pm at the time of posting. They definitely need better time management in the store.

Technician Chad was very helpful advising repair options for my 2015 MacBook Pro that was not communicated during a previous inquiry at Apple’s Columbia store. Always good to feel like good information is being provided.

Irresponsible and disingenuous staff and manager. Also unorganized and messy store.
Two incidents. The employee lied about the throttling issue of older iPhones with iOS update which was my phone’s problem. The other the employee misinformed me and said I could get the trade-in money either back to my bank account or a gift card. I asked for the gift card but gave me 10% less the amount so I called for help and the manager said the system cannot be reverted. What a joke.

If you need any help with your apple products and get out in less than two hours, you might as well not show up. If you do not book an appointment to meet with a tech, the walk in wait time can range from 3-5 hours. It is better to book an appointment and you will still have to sit and wait. I had an appointment set for 12:40pm. I got there to check in at 12:35pm and someone came up to me around 1:20pm. Once I was able to speak to a tech and get all situated, they were able to help me find a solution.

Sloth like behavior. Extremely dismissive and you literally have to stand in their face for them to even speak to you. Who manages them

Arrived. Placed our name on the list to be seen. Waited patiently for our turn over 25 mins (fine - it’s a Saturday). Watched as one person came in, basically threw a bundle of cash for the phone across the desk and got served straight away (they were most definitely a walk in). Elderly lady in front of me had been waiting 30 mins and was clearly forgotten. As a business owner who uses a LOT of apple products it’s made me wonder. The manager made an excuse of staff shortages but there were 10 people working, two of whom thought it more important to catch up than serve people.

Pure Trash. I made a genius bar appointment online for 6:30 in the afternoon. Arrived early to check in. It took approx 12 minutes for someone in a blue shift to approach us and ask if we need help/had an appointment. We were finally checked in and Alena was supposed to help us. We told her we had an issue with our ipad charing and brought the adapter and charing cord. She plugged it in at a different table than the one we were at and it magically started charging. I asked if there was a short in the cord and if she could run a diagonsitc on the device. She said there was no need as it appeared to be working. Of course we get it home and it doesn't work. Any other electical cord works just fine in the outlet. I'm pissed b/c now we are going to have to come out of pocket for a new cord--apple care has expired and is a complete waste of money. This store is trash. Save yourself the headache and just mail your device in. It'll take longer but at least you have a fighting change at actually being serviced. Will never go back to this store.

I like Apple. I like my iPad, my iPhone, the Apple form factor and the product works for me. Do yourselves a favor. Research and do your shopping online and just order your items directly. My recent experience at the Annapolis Apple store had me seriously considering ditching my Apple tech for other options. I was in the store for hours for a fairly simple transaction, felt ignored, talked down to, and overall had a poor experience.

I filled out the customer feedback survey and actually got a call from the store. The call was polite, but resolved nothing about my experience. When I was asked if there was anything further, I put the question back to the store and asked what they thought would be an appropriate next step to retain a customer and mend the relationship. The answer I got back was "I don't understand." They said they could provide "channels " for me to pursue if I wanted, but the effort for any other resolution would be my responsibility. No offers were presented for me to come in and work towards a better experience with an upgrade or other option. No offer to directly assist in a higher level escalation - that was on me. Just an apology and statement that they don't want to provide a negative experience. Well folks, you didn't solve anything and barely made it sound like you really wanted to. You just made the requisite call for a poor survey - check box filled. Thanks for taking the time to get the information for your store. Not sure what the purpose of the call was. It certainly didn't change my experience of future choices. Don't go to this store. Just don't.

Great customer service. Was a walk in and they accommodated. Hard getting in queue since there is no place for a line so you kinda have to interrupt busy employees.

Consistently poor service. If you’re lucky enough to corner a sales rep, you’ll be fine. Otherwise, there’s no telling how long you’ll wait.

3 of the last 5 times I went during non peak hours, I left after 10-15 minutes of being full on ignored
