The "Khinkali" Hand-Folded Tradition: The menu features a high-integrity selection of Khinkali—large, pleated dumplings filled with savory, spiced meat and steaming broth. - The food is good, I would not say it is 100% authentic, but it comes close. However, the whole experience is ruined by the smell of cigarettes and heavy cologne. The customers are apparently allowed to smoke inside the restaurant. Just the whole atmosphere creates a negative image of the countries the place claims to represent, especially for someone who has not tried Georgian or Armenian cuisine. The service is okay but not as welcoming as desired. In addition, the food is extremally overpriced. One Khinkali costs $3.5.
I traveled quite far away to get this food and I really wish the whole experience was not impaired by more than a few people smoking inside. If I go back to this place, I will probably get a take-out. I really hope the administration takes into consideration all these reviews that point out how smoking damages their image.
- Зашли с другом вспомнить грузинскую юность. И не пожалели, вкусная еда( есть даже жареные хинкали), свежие салаты, грузинский лимонад, минеральная вода. Друг спокойно курил за столом. Вежливое и быстрое обслуживание(привет официанту Неле!). Вечер удался, спасибо большое !

The lamb stew with herbs is delicious, and table is served fresh bread with butter and cream. The Kachapuri on grill is essentially a very long croissant dough with mozzarella cheese inside.
- Unique home cooked food, good portions and very nice staff members. We'll definitely be coming back. Such small gems of LA don't get enough attention !!

- My wife wanted to eat some Georgian food we decided to stop here,, she had the chikmeruli , we also had the imeruli kachapuri, I forgot what I ordered I just remember everything was so delicious, this place is also offering Armenian dishes. We will be back for more. I recommend this place give it a shot

- We ordered food for a party of 40 people from the restaurant. When we came to picking up we decided that we needed more food. Nelly was genuinely kind and helped us bulk up our order. All the ladies working there were fantastic with big smiles!! Great service! Looking forward to ordering from here again!

- Amazing food great Armenian/Georgian Cusine. I don't normally give reviews but this resturaunt deserves it. They make itinsanely quick. Employees and staff always are super friendly. All the tabels are very clean there is music playing from the TV's great pictures to look at. Everything is great at Havlabar. If you want to find a place to eat this would be it. Please visit Havlabar!!!
Удивительная еда, отличная армянская / грузинская кухня. Обычно я не пишу отзывы, но этот ресторан этого заслуживает. Делают безумно быстро. Сотрудники и персонал всегда очень дружелюбны. Все столы очень чистые, играет музыка с великолепных картинок по телевизору, на которые можно смотреть. В Хавлабаре все отлично. Если вы хотите найти место, где можно поесть, это будет то, что вам нужно. Пожалуйста, посетите Хавлабар!!!
