Banfield Hospital at Dadeland is truly in a league of its own. The entire team—from the front desk to the vets and especially the vet techs—sets the bar for what exceptional pet care looks like. They don’t just treat pets; they know them, remember them, and make every visit feel personal and welcoming.

Dr. Kusevic, Dr. Servito, Dr. Castillo, and of course Dr. Esteves have all cared for our pets, and every single one of them is amazing. Their compassion, professionalism, and genuine love for animals shows in every interaction. And the vet techs deserve just as much praise—they are patient, gentle, incredibly knowledgeable, and you can tell they truly care. They remember our pets by name, always treat them with kindness, and make even the most stressful visits smooth and comforting.

We live in Broward and still choose to make the drive to Dadeland solely because of the incredible care this team provides. Knowing our pets are in such capable and loving hands makes it worth every mile.

I have been taking all of my dogs and cats to Banfield Pet Hospital in Dadeland for many years, and I cannot say enough wonderful things about this location. The veterinarians and staff are consistently professional, patient, compassionate, and truly loving toward your pets. They have a way of putting you at ease, especially during stressful moments when your pet is sick or you’re worried.

Dr. Esteves is exceptional in every sense. She genuinely goes above and beyond, always taking the time to personally call and explain the cause of your pet’s condition and clearly outline the plan of action to get them feeling better. Her dedication and care mean so much as a pet parent.

Dr. Kusevic is equally wonderful—kind, gracious, and incredibly reassuring. She takes the time to thoroughly review your pet’s needs and explains her treatment plan in a way that makes you feel confident and supported.

The entire staff is outstanding. From scheduling appointments to follow-up calls the next day to check on your pet, Astrid, Lindsay, Mary, and the whole tech team make you feel truly cared for the moment you walk in. That level of attention and compassion has been a blessing for us and our fur babies.

I highly recommend this Banfield location. Dr. Esteves and Dr. Kusevic are both excellent veterinarians and skilled surgeons, and the entire team provides exceptional care. We wouldn’t trust our pets with anyone else.

First appointment must have been a fluke. Second visit for an ear infection and they did not adequately treat it. Third time went for another anal gland expression and got a lecture from the kid that they are required to charge an office fee for them and are doing me a favor by not charging it (no vets charge an office fee for anal glands) he did not adequately clear them and I’ll have to pay someone else to do them properly. I scheduled an appointment a week in advance for her shots, and when they didn’t call to confirm, I called them and they don’t have the appointment and he says they may have cancelled it (without sending any notification) he said they are too busy and there is nothing they can do. Now leaving me scrambling to get her vaccine done before a trip. Banfield is not dependable.

Good experience. Was impressed with the vet thoroughly cleaning my beagles anal glands and voicing a concern I could have checked out at a later appointment

I’m so thankful for this place. I unfortunately had to take my fur baby in for what seemed to be a lipoma but ended up being a hernia that needed fixing. I’ve never been more nervous about anything ever, because it would require a surgery, and had inherent risks, and I couldn’t imagine living if anything happened to my dog. The staff here is extremely gentle and understanding and genuinely seem to have a love for the animals they treat, where they aren’t just a another customer or number. The nurses and the doctors that helped my fur baby went into detail explaining everything that would be needed for care before and after the procedure. And, when I went back for a follow-up a few days after, because I had some concerns about possible emergency complications (like constipation for several days) they saw me immediately in the morning and sent me home with the medicine necessary to fix that too. I’m so thankful to see my doghter happy, healthy and recovering so well because of the COMPLETE care given here. Looking forward to being back soon to finally remove her stitches.

This was my first time taking Stella to this location and I couldn’t be more pleased. They worked with me and her special circumstances to put her in a room to be seen and made sure she had all the right attention and care she needed. Dr Velasco is incredible, along with her nurses. Thanks for taking care of my baby
