Eduardo E. Valdes, MD, is a Board Certified OB/GYN at Collaborative Women’s Care in Miami, Florida. Dr. Valdes provides personalized women’s health care, forming long-lasting relationships with the patients he cares for.
Born and raised in Miami, Dr. Valdes’ love for medicine started at an early age as the son of a neonatologist (a doctor who cares for newborns).
He attended the Florida International University in Miami, graduating with a bachelor’s degree in chemistry. He earned his Doctor of Medicine at Ponce School of Medicine and Health Sciences (now Ponce Health Sciences University) in Ponce, Puerto Rico.
Dr. Valdes completed his residency in obstetrics and gynecology at Lincoln Medical and Mental Health Center (now Lincoln Medical Center) in Mott Haven, the Bronx, New York.
After completing his residency, Dr. Valdes returned to Miami to live and work in and serve the community he grew up in. He went into obstetrics and gynecology for the challenge of balancing primary care with acute care and surgery.
He cares for women of all ages, providing contraceptive counseling, pregnancy care, cervical health management, menopause treatment, and preventive health care.
To better serve the needs of his diverse community, Dr. Valdes speaks fluent English and Spanish.

- I honestly wish I had found him sooner. My previous OBs do not compare to Dr. Valdes. He is attentive, compassionate, caring, and goes out of his way to ensure both you and your baby’s safety. This man would perform his own ultrasounds on you just to make sure things were okay and no other OB has done that. I was considered high-risk and he seriously was always on top of my health. My husband and I could not be any more grateful to him for everything he did for me during my pregnancy and for helping us bring our little girl into the world healthy. If you have to trust any doctor with your life and your most precious cargo you won’t regret going to Dr. Valdes. You’ll receive quality care and he never rushes you. If it means anything, even the nurses at Mercy have nothing but amazing things to say about him. He’s so caring and sweet. His staff is also phenomenal. That’s incredibly hard to find here in Miami lol.
