Dr. Cooper is a board-certified general surgeon who was raised right here in Montgomery, Alabama. He received his medical degree from University of South Alabama College of Medicine in Mobile. - Dr. Cooper explained what needed to be done and why. He provided a visual diagram which made things easier to understand. Very professional and attentive. He performed the surgery as he explained and also removed some old scar tissue from an earlier surgery. I would highly recommend him if you require surgery.

My husband and I can’t say enough great things about Dr Cooper. He did my mother in law’s colon surgery after she was diagnosed with colorectal cancer in 2022. He took a biopsy for my husband a few weeks back and is doing another tomorrow. Every time we’ve seen Dr Cooper he is always the same - compassionate, kind, easy to talk to and most importantly, he is very knowledgeable in his field ! We are two hours away from Montgomery and he always works to accommodate us. My husband has recently been diagnosed with cancer requiring many trips to Montgomery. Dr Cooper as worked us in his extremely busy schedule each time we’ve needed to see him and have a procedure done We are VERY grateful. We highly recommend him. Such a blessing in so many ways!

The staff were very nice and professional, however, Dr. Cooper was very short and matter of fact. I will not be visiting the office again. He seemed rushed and too busy to discuss my situation.

The nurses, personnel, anesthesiology, and Dr. Cooper were fantastic!! Could not have had better care. Even got a nice card in the mail from the nurses! Thanks to all of you.
