Austin, 9312 Brodie Ln Suite 102, Austin, TX 78748

In the lush, rapidly growing landscape of South Austin, Dr. Rajesh Mehta at South Austin Vein Center offers a masterclass in vascular restoration. Located at 9312 Brodie Lane, Suite 102 is a specialized clinic where the intricate science of blood flow meets a commitment to enhancing the quality of life for the "Live Music Capital" community.

Dr. Mehta is a board-certified specialist who views the vascular system as the "river of life," focusing his expertise on the complex world of Phlebology—the study and treatment of vein diseases.

The Vision: Circulation by Design

Dr. Mehta doesn't just treat surface-level symptoms; he utilizes a "deep-map" diagnostic approach to understand the underlying mechanics of venous insufficiency. His practice is defined by:

Non-Thermal Ablation: Utilizing the latest "gentle" technologies like VenaSeal or Radiofrequency Ablation to close diseased veins without the need for significant anesthesia or invasive cutting.

The Aesthetic Balance: A dual focus on medical necessity and cosmetic confidence, treating everything from painful, bulging varicose veins to delicate spider veins.

Ultrasound-Guided Precision: Every treatment plan is backed by high-resolution vascular mapping, ensuring that the "fix" addresses the source of the pressure, not just the visible result.

The Atmosphere: South Austin Serenity

Suite 102 is designed to mirror the relaxed, professional vibe of the Brodie Lane corridor. It is a space where the stress of a "medical appointment" is replaced by a focused, boutique experience.

Ground-Floor Accessibility: Positioned for easy entry and exit, making it ideal for patients dealing with leg heaviness or mobility challenges.

The "Lunch-Hour" Recovery: The practice specializes in procedures that are so minimally invasive they can often be performed in under an hour, allowing patients to return to their South Austin lives with zero downtime.

Why It’s Unique

What sets Dr. Rajesh Mehta apart is his Vascular Vigilance. In a medical landscape that often defaults to "watch and wait," Dr. Mehta empowers his patients with early intervention strategies that prevent the progression of leg ulcers, swelling, and deep vein thrombosis. He is the physician for the person who wants to stay active—whether that’s hiking the Barton Creek Greenbelt or standing for hours at a local show—without the burden of leg pain.

Staff was amazing. Knowledgeable and friendly. Doc was great. And for a first timer who was nervous; they made easy as a piece of cake. If you are thinking about it; just get it done. It’s an easy way to potentially save your own life!

Dr. Mehta diagnosed my intestinal issue and prescribed a medication that remedied the problem immediately. I would recommend this doctor to anyone experiencing intestinal issues.

This is really the worst experience I could have. The doctor did not read my chart, did not believe me when I told him my issues, did not believe that I had SIBO, asked me if I diagnosed myself (my primary care doctor said it was the highest SIBO numbers she had ever seen). He performed an endoscopy, saw gastritis, hiatal hernia and just let me go with no treatment. When I went to the ER for pain three weeks later, the ER doctor said "what did they give you for the gastritis?" I said "a piece of paper that says I have gastritis."That er doctor prescribed some very helpful meds. When I called Lonestar to get refills of those scripts, the phone girl actually suggested that I get them re-prescribed by my er doctor. What?? And now today, trying to get my prescription filled again, the receptionist tried to give me the fax number to HEB, like it's somehow my job to do that? Don't come here if you can avoid it. I am switching to another doctor now.

Probably one of the flakiest doctors I’ve ever dealt with. Postponed my colonoscopy a full day after already being in the hospital 2 full days waiting. Then tried to keep me for another full day after that just to IV my medicine that I easily took in pill form. Then I reached out to have Dr Mehta refill my prescription until my follow up on 2/17 and they sent me an Optum RX delivery of 3 months of medicine instead of just sending it to my pharmacy. So they ended up charging me $200 in medicine I might not need 3 months worth and could have used my deductible and instead of spending $200. I would warn anyone about coming to this office. The front desk is also very rude and incompetent and you can tell this is a very terrible office and program they have all together. I do not recommend this doctor or this Lonestar Gastroenterologist office.
