Located at 1150 N 35th Ave #520, within the specialized suites of the Joe DiMaggio Children’s Hospital campus in Hollywood, the practice of Tatyana Dubrovsky, MD, is a vital destination for pediatric neurology. In the delicate world of children’s brain and nerve health, Dr. Dubrovsky serves as a "Clinical Guardian," combining deep international experience with a warm, child-centered approach.

The Pediatric Brain Navigator

Dr. Dubrovsky is a double board-certified pediatric neurologist with a career that spans over 25 years in Broward County. She doesn't just treat conditions; she translates the complex language of the nervous system into clear, actionable paths for families who are often navigating their most challenging moments.

Why Dr. Dubrovsky is a Standout Specialist

Elite "Global to Local" Training: Her medical journey began at the Kursk State Medical Institute in Russia, followed by residency work in Kaliningrad. After moving to the U.S., she refined her expertise at Miami Children’s Hospital and the University of Miami/Jackson Memorial Hospital. This vast background gives her a uniquely diverse clinical perspective.

+1

The "Detective" of Movement & Muscle: While an expert in general pediatric neurology, she has a deep focus on Movement Disorders (like Tics and Tourette Syndrome) and Neuromuscular Disorders (such as Muscular Dystrophy and Myasthenia Gravis). She is a master at pinpointing the subtle physical cues that lead to life-changing diagnoses.

A Cultural and Linguistic Bridge: Reflecting South Florida’s international soul, Dr. Dubrovsky is fluent in Russian. For Eastern European families, she provides more than just medical care; she provides a space where symptoms and concerns can be shared in their primary language, ensuring no detail is lost in translation.

The "Child-First" Advocate: She is frequently praised by parents for her "straightforward yet compassionate" style. Reviews often highlight her unique ability to direct questions directly to the child, making the young patient feel heard and respected rather than just talked about.

+1

Precision in Testing: From interpreting complex EEGs to managing epilepsy, she is known for her "no-unnecessary-testing" philosophy, focusing on the most efficient and least stressful ways to get answers for her patients.

The Atmosphere

"It is a hub of world-class pediatric science wrapped in the reassuring calm of a neighborhood doctor’s office."

The vibe at the North 35th Avenue office is focused, professional, and deeply empathetic. As part of the Memorial Division of Pediatric Neurology, the facility is high-tech, yet Dr. Dubrovsky’s personal approach keeps it grounded. It is an environment built for the "terrified parent," designed to replace uncertainty with a sense of control and a clear plan of action.

Pro-Tip for the Family

Since Dr. Dubrovsky is affiliated with Joe DiMaggio Children’s Hospital, your child has a direct line to one of the nation's top pediatric surgical and neuro-rehabilitation centers if needed. Parking on the hospital campus can be busy, so aim for the adjacent parking garage and give yourself an extra 15 minutes to navigate to Suite 520. Also, utilize the Memorial healthcare portal to prep your child's developmental history beforehand; Dr. Dubrovsky is a data-driven specialist who loves a well-prepared medical timeline.

Dr. Dubrosky was exceptional! She was incredibly thorough, taking her time to ask thoughtful questions and genuinely listening to our responses. From the moment she walked in, her interactions with our daughter were intentional and caring. We left her office feeling confident in her diagnosis and reassured about our daughter’s path to a successful outcome. Her deep knowledge and extensive experience in the field were evident throughout our visit.

I initially liked her and we seemed to be on the right track but because she couldn’t find the root cause of the migraines my daughter has been having her entire life she choose to do the lazy thing and push her off her service and we’ve now wasted 2 years with this lady just for her to talk aggressively to a child that is struggling with her mental health and told her “she needs to go back to counseling” it’s not a real migraine it’s just headaches?! Who talks to children like that? My daughter cried all the way home and we drive 2 hours for this lady to tell us she can’t do anything and my child is faking her headaches?! What a joke I watch my daughter suffer from migraines all her life I have them my mother has them! She may help some but she did nothing for us. I wouldn’t recommend her to anyone.

If I could give her a one star review I would. I’ve never encountered such a disrespectful doctor. She’s rude and had a poor bed side manner. She made several disrespectful comments towards me, and pretty much questioned how I parent my child. I felt so disrespected that I left in the middle of the appointment. I immediately contacted Memorial regarding the issue, and was told that a member of management would be contacting me back within 24-48 hours, and that never happened. I called Memorial back within a week of the incident, and I still wasn’t able to get the issue resolved. Carmen called me after my second phone call and told me that “management” was on vacation and she’d be contacting me back once they return, which never happened. My son’s appointment was on August 7, and it is currently August 29, and I still haven’t heard from anyone. I just want to reschedule my son’s appointment with another provider, and I keep being told that “management” will be contacting me. I expect better from Memorial Hospital. This has been the worse experience that I’ve had from a health care provider. I finally got my son’s appointment rescheduled after a month of waiting simply because the hospital saw my google review. That’s just ridiculous. It shouldn’t have had to resort this in order for someone to simply reschedule my son’s appointment. This situation is just pathetic.
