Raleigh, 7101 Glenwood Avenue Raleigh, NC 27612

If you’re driving down Glenwood Avenue toward the Crabtree Valley area, it’s hard to miss the sleek, expansive building that has become the command center for electric driving in the Triangle. Tesla Raleigh, located at 7101 Glenwood Avenue, is a massive all-in-one hub that serves as a showroom, service center, and delivery point. For North Carolina drivers, this location represents a major shift from the smaller, mall-based galleries of the past into a high-capacity facility designed to support the thousands of EVs now humming along I-440 and I-540.

Stepping into the Glenwood Avenue showroom is a complete departure from the high-pressure environment of the "auto mile" dealerships nearby. The space is bright, open, and intentionally minimalist, putting the focus entirely on the technology. You can explore the versatile Model Y—a local favorite for Research Triangle Park commuters—or the high-performance Model 3 at your own pace. The staff here act as advisors rather than traditional salespeople; they’re ready to show you how the expansive glass roof handles the Carolina sun or explain how the dual-motor all-wheel drive provides extra confidence during a sudden summer downpour or a rare winter dusting.

What makes this location so vital for the Raleigh-Durham community is its role as a full-service and delivery engine. Because Teslas are designed with far fewer moving parts than a standard engine, the on-site service center feels more like a clean-room laboratory. It’s where local owners go for high-tech diagnostics, software-led performance checks, and hardware optimizations. It’s also the primary stage for "Delivery Day," where new owners from Cary, Wake Forest, and Apex receive a personal walkthrough of their car’s futuristic features before driving off for their first quiet, gas-free mile.

Tesla Raleigh is more than just a place to buy a car; it’s a community anchor for the "City of Oaks" as it moves toward a more sustainable future. By housing expert service, home charging advice, and a world-class showroom all under one roof, they’ve made the transition to electric feel like a natural, simple upgrade for the modern North Carolina lifestyle. Whether you’re a tech professional heading into RTP or a family looking for the highest safety ratings for the school run, visiting this landmark Glenwood location is the best way to see how the next generation of transportation has officially claimed its place in the 919.

I had to bring my model S in for service and I was able to deal with Trevor who truly was amazing in explaining everything as I was completely ignorant to the entire process. He was extremely professional and compassionate. And really did what was necessary to take care of the issues

They scratched my windshield tint, and they tossed my stuff fr the front seat floorboard into the back and one of the items was a wireless monitor...

If you move something, put it back where you got it.

They owned the windshield scratch and gave me written confirmation they would fix it.

But I don't like how careless the service tech was with my belongings and my car... 0 consideration was taken. Treat it like you would want your belongings treated by another... Simple as that.

First time at Glenwood... Will be going back to Sumner location moving forward.

Front desk was very helpful. And the service was quick... But now I have to take time out of my day to schedule a tiny replacement and that time isn't compensated...

We were helped by Debbie on both occasions test driving and later purchasing our new Tesla Model Y. She provided excellent customer service and was extremely helpful with all of our questions and concerns. 10/10 recommend could not have had a better experience.

Really got nervous after reading reviews online but we showed up right at pickup time. Had no issues. Wes was great to work with. Highly recommended

Just a stress-free car buying experience. Never felt any pressure from the reps - they asked simple questions about the model I wanted and how I wanted to pay, and that's it.

Taking delivery was also a breeze. They had some models on-site so I got my Model Y Long Range in just a few days. Took less than 15 minutes to sign the papers and get my keys set up, and then drove off the lot.

This place is often packed so be prepared to be patient - aim to stop in on a week day in the early afternoon if you want more time with a rep.

Took car to Tesla to replace the weather Stripping and the original estimate was $750. They kept my car for almost 2 weeks. Continued to change the estimate cost and completion time. Final cost ended up being over $2000. They did bring it down to $1600 after we said how crazy this process has been. This was not a good experience. Just know if you need something fixed, be prepared to spend alot of money.

My experience was ok. I had an appointment for 10:30am. They finally started work on my car around 4:00 p.m. and it took them till 6:00 p.m. to finish (nearly an 8 hour day). I get they were, but I saw people come and go every hour or two, I got no updates via the app or in person. At least there were no unexpected charges or fees. I'll purchase the fast pass next time.

Exceptional experience! While I typically don't leave reviews, our recent car-buying experience was so positive that I felt compelled to share. My husband and I inquired about a new car, and Antonio and Billy, our salespeople, went above and beyond to ensure we had a fantastic experience. Their knowledge and expertise were remarkable, addressing all our questions and concerns. If you're in the market, make sure to look for Antonio or Billy—they will undoubtedly make your car-buying journey incredible

Took delivery of the model y. I was worried about it because of all the negative reviews. My pickup went seamless. Took 20-25 minutes and I was on my way. I guess it would depend on the day? Not sure. Thankfully I had no issues.

Robbed me of my deposit and will not call back, despite my courteous and polite voicemails. I placed a deposit on a new vehicle, and ultimately decided to purchase another vehicle due to time restraints. While a refund can be initiated online, my banking information has changed and my only option is to speak directly to a sales member. The sales team will not take my call, their mailbox has recently become full and will not accept new messages, and messages that managed to land have not been returned. This will lead to a lawsuit in the new year as my money still belongs to me but they are gaining interest on it unlawfully (at this point).

Keeps changing the estimated time to pick up close to actual time of pick up with absolutely no correspondence, no one replies through the service app and getting them through call is almost impossible. No professionalism and communication making it worst possible service experience.

The Store Manager Mike was super helpful in resolving an unexpected logistics and customer service matter that almost interfered with my friend purchasing a new Model Y.

They never answer the phone. They never call back. Now their voice-mail box is full. I bought a Tesla Model S in November and the backseat screen wasn't working. It's mid December now. Don't buy a Tesla.

I recently embarked on what I hoped would be an exciting journey with Tesla's Model Y, only to find myself mired in frustration and disappointment. My car, scheduled for delivery at 10 AM on December 6, arrived an hour and a half late, setting a less-than-ideal tone from the start.
However, the real nightmare unfolded when, after driving a mere 10 miles, I discovered a persistent pull towards the right side of the road. The Tesla service team at the Raleigh location initially diagnosed and claimed to fix a right-side alignment issue. Unfortunately, the problem persisted, leading to a series of attempted solutions, including swapping front tires, all to no avail.
The proposed solution from the General Manager/TL was baffling and raised serious safety concerns. I was advised to drive the car for a hundred miles, with the assurance that the issue would magically vanish. This not only seemed impractical but also compromised my safety—a notion that should be unthinkable with a brand-new vehicle.
My trust in Tesla, coupled with the anticipation of a seamless transition from my previous car (a Ford Mustang GT), has been shattered. Spending an entire day at the service center without a clear explanation or resolution is disheartening. A brand like Tesla should not subject its customers to the inconvenience of driving a defective vehicle for testing purposes.
As if the ordeal wasn't enough, I made a car payment of $4500, incurring interest charges at 7.14% from TD Bank. This financial burden, combined with the time wasted on a defective purchase, has left me questioning the accuracy and integrity of the entire transaction.
In conclusion, my experience with Tesla's Model Y has been far from the seamless and customer-centric process I expected. As a loyal admirer of the brand, I find myself contemplating whether to take possession of the car at all. Tesla needs to address these issues promptly to salvage its reputation and retain the trust of its customer base.

One star for TL: Tito who was able to find a solution indeed and handling to towards customer was only positive point over here.
